I did a little 'homework, and Motorola appeared to have good reviews. This product should be the same function as the SB5120 SB5101 unless the chip set uses a slightly different way.

For my setup, I have my Comcast cable service from evil, my cable modem, and an old Linksys wireless router. The day my Motorola cable modem arrived, I pulled out of the box, looked at the quick installation guide, and is added to I called Comcast, sailed through their automated phone menu system, Byzantine, and read the MAC ID technology services in person. ★★★★★ I worked a good solid year modem cable for the installation of Charter Communications in California and I can vouch for the ease of installation (no software required honest people), the reliability, speed and simplicity of the Motorola surfboard . This is a class of other modems, such as Toshiba, Terayon, D-Link (only customer supplied) and the most terrible of all, the scope.

Most of the time we have Ambit modems for installation (about 2 or 3 areas for each other on a daily basis).
